The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
The National Mental Health Information Center was developed for users of mental health services and their families, the general public, policy makers, providers, and the media. SAMHSA is a department of the US Department of Health and Human Services.
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)
NAMI is a grassroots mental health advocacy organization. Members include families, friends and individuals determined to strengthen communities across the country by focusing on mental health awareness, education, and advocacy.
