Recreational Therapist

Mona Martine graduated with a BA in Parks and Recreation Administration from CSUC in 1991, with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation, Special Populations. Mona has enjoyed almost twenty years working in the Therapeutic Recreation field with varying jobs descriptions. Mona has taught aquatic classes, in a therapy pool, for years at a physical rehabilitation hospital. In addition, she works for a non-profit that serves the needs of the adult autistic populations. As part of the team, at Therapeutic Solutions she has made her main focus with patients: self-care, leisure counseling, education and carry-over of long term goals into routine lifestyle changes.
