Ahmed Abouesh, MD

Dr. Abouesh is responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of Therapeutic Solutions.  Dr. Abouesh founded Therapeutic Solutions in 1998 to build high quality psychiatric programs for a market he believed was being underserved.  Leveraging his background in psychiatry, Dr. Abouesh has built a company that provides an alternative to acute hospitalization. 

Prior to founding Therapeutic Solutions, Dr. Abouesh assumed the role of Medical Director for Enloe Behavioral Health expanding the unit to 30 beds.  He is also the only psychiatrist in Chico that performs forensic evaluations.  Dr. Abouesh is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.  He graduated from medical school in Cairo, Egypt, and the Psychiatric Residency Program at the University of Virginia, He attended a Forensic Fellowship at UCLA.  Dr. Abouesh has published several articles in peer review journals and has presented at numerous scientific conferences in the United States.
