Associate Clinical Social Worker
Adam Schaller has spent the last 12 years helping patients in the mental
health and social work fields. His practice has included Inpatient Psychiatric
Care, Outpatient Crisis Services, and Foster Care. Foster Care is particularly
relevant to Adam’s practice, as he believes that adolescents are
both the most challenging and most rewarding patients to work with.
What drew Adam to social work was the opportunity to become a part of an
individual’s personal growth. Social work and psychology often work
in tandem, and that type of collaborative care is part of what makes working
at Therapeutic Solutions so rewarding. He describes his personal approach
as “laid back,” but can also be direct when the situation requires.
Adam’s goal for every patient is to become a part of their journey,
empowering them to take ownership of their growth and development as a
person. He believes that anyone can become the person they desire to be—his
aim is to help each patient realize that, then live it out.
Adam earned his Bachelor’s in Psychology from Oregon State University,
and his Master’s in Social Work from California State University,
Chico. In his spare time, he enjoys playing indoor basketball with friends,
as well as softball, soccer, and volleyball through C.A.R.D. sports.
